Logo Design & Branding for Edura Shezrin
I was commissioned by a budding jewellery designer - Edura Jamal Berrini, based in Chicago to design an identity system and branding for her jewellery line that will be launching soon.
Edura creates unique handcrafted jewellery pieces and also distributes gemstones under her brand LAKU Gems.
The key elements that she wanted to communicate through her identity was to use the letters in her initials E,S and also incorporate elements that are true to her asian heritage. Keywords that stood out for the design were Refined, Quality & Luxury.

The two concepts that I came up with were playing on the combination of her initials in her brand name Edura Shezrin. The proposals were influenced by geometrical asian patterns, kufic like elements consistent to her colour schemes with her gem stone business.
The deep blue allows for some gender neutrality which enables breadth of product as ES Jewellery will have both male and female pieces.
